I didn't either, but if you look at the bottom of the page when you are posting something it says Attach Files: and you have to hit the thing that says Manage Attachments. It's right before the Submit Reply button.

Click
manage attachments below where you type your post (can't be done in quick post, can only be done in a traditional post). Then choose a file from your computer to upload, then click "add this file" and wait for it to appear to the list and then when it does click "all done".
