Partial Survivor Re-Cap thread

43 days ago, 16 GameTavern members began the adventure of a lifetime. This time the survivors were allowed to pick their own tribes. The two GameTavern members with the most referrals, jonbo298 and GameMaster were named team captains. To avoid favortism the last two tribe members each of them picked were given immunity for their first tribal council. The tribes were as follows.

From the start the S.T.A.R.S. tribe appeared to be better coached and better prepared to face the upcoming challenges. During the first challenge (Pass the Vile) S.T.A.R.S. proved they were in fact prepared as they emerged victorious despite distraction attempts by A.G.R.S.
At Tribal Council ominub became the first person voted out of the tribe, primarily for inactivity.

Bond hosted the "Ass-Masters" challenge to mixed enthusiasm. Umbrella rebounded by correctly identifying 7 of 8 asses. At Tribal council Hero2 was voted off for suspected ties to Umbrella's leader Jonbo.

The next 4 challenges would prove disasterous for Umbrella. S.T.A.R.S. crushed the competition in the Trivia challenge by a score of 18-8. Perhaps disappointed with their performance Umbrella shocked everyone by voting off their leader Jonbo.

The change in leadership did not help Umbrella's cause. Perfect Stu tried to do everything himself but S.T.A.R.S. showed superior math skills and solved the logic problems in Challenge #4. At Umbrella's 2nd council in a row Jewels - an inactive and suspected co-conspiritor of Jonbo's turned out to be the next victim.

The Survivors were met with a surprise twist. A.G.R.S. voted that Yoda and Cany switch to the S.T.A.R.S. tribe and Rndm and Dyne switch to the Umbrella tribe.

The Tribal shake-up did nothing to jumpstart the decaying Umbrella tribe. S.T.A.R.S. came close to doubling Umbrella's score in the King of the Night challenge.

At tribal council it became clear that Dyne was not able to integrate himself into his new tribe as the old Umbrella members held strong and voted him out.

Triple-Tribe Combination Lock Challenge Extravaganza!

This was the first time A.G.R.S. was allowed to actively compete in a challenge, and the stakes were huge. If A.G.R.S. pulled off a win they would get to vote two members into the game. Fortunately for the survivors this didn't happen. S.T.A.R.S. came in first, of course, and Umbrella voted out Ginkasa.

The two tribes then merged into the same tribe, ContamiNation. It included 7 S.T.A.R.S. and what was left of the limping Umbrella tribe.

Four survivors remain. Two will go on to face the final jury, and one will outlast all the rest to become the ultimate survivor.

lol...I remember that one. I was so damn close with no help from my teammates

If we had won that challenge, the game would have been SO different.
