I wish it were called The Spectacular Spider-Man or something instead.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man 2
I thought of that too, but this way next time they reboot the series (and they will) they can use that adjective to separate it from this one. And Sensational after that.

How many reboots do you expect this to go through?

As many as are profitable for as long as the character exists. Already had at least five separate Spider-Man cartoon reboots.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man 2
I'm more interested to see how quickly they reboot Batman, since it sounds like Bale and Nolan are both done.

No, I was hoping for the sequels to do all that. You'd have Spectacular than Sensational then Friendly Neighborhood then Web of then Avenging (where they finally make a deal to bring him into the MCU) and then Ultimate. It would be awesome.
Oh well. I didn't really lke the first one anyway.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man 2
Eh, it was either Ultimate blue guy or 616 leaf-head (though I would love to see that costume worked in like the Captain America one was somehow) to choose from. Think he looks alright. Will be all glowy with CG effects. Hopefully he's an interesting character and doesn't rely on his looks. We have the Rhino for that. *fingers crossed*

You never go full Urkel.
He looks like he'd make a good Baxter Stockman.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man 2
Broke my rule and listened to the soundtrack before watching the movie. Really like this.
