That Cartoon You Watched
Last week I moved house. To London.
Upon sorting out the collection of worldly goods I have amassed over near on 25 years I came across some dvd's I made in like 1996. What was on them? Collections of the cartoons I watched as a kid. I felt a stir of nostalgia well up inside of me.
So here it is. I want to know, what were the cartoons of your childhood? How far back can you remember?
Here are mine with some comments. And I have the entire collections of them.
Ulysees 31 - A timeless classic. To me anyway.
The Mysterious Cities Of Gold - Still fantastic, even 20+ years on still watchable.
Jayce And The Wheeled Warriors - Not quite what I remember, but not bad.
Come on people, you must remember something. Even if you say Mask, Transformes, ThunderCats, He-Man, Turles... all of which I watched ftr. And if you dont remember it very well, do what I did. Search engine it, buy it, download it whatever. What were your favourite childhood cartoons?
Oh yeah... 2900 woo hoo!

Reason: Because I Can
Far too many to name (attempted below). Looney Tunes was probably my first cartoon though. Used to watch it every night at 8 before bed.
Let's see...
TMNT
Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers
Centurions
Duck Tales
Alvin and the Chipmunks
Johnny Quest
The Adventures of T-Rex
Sonic The Hedgehog (both of them)
David the Gnome (hated that show but it was always on and so watched)
Noozles
Inspector Gadget (watched it so much referred to him as Uncle Gadget at one point)
Animaniacs (I still do a Wakko impression every chance I get)
Tiny Toons
Doug
Ah! Real Monsters
Rugrats
Darkwing Duck
Tailspin
Digimon
Snorks
a hell of a lot of Hanna Barbara toons
Garfield
Heathcliff
Batman
X-Men
Pokemon (when it aired at 6 in the morning and was all sparkily and new)
Gargoyles
Ren and Stimpy (used to freak me out but started reading John K's blog where he goes into detail how each scene was animated. Fascinating stuff.)
The Little Prince
Hmm, that's about it off the top of my head.
Actually discovered Ulysses 31 pretty recently while searching for a cartoon I couldn't remember the name of. I LOVE the intro song.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Thundercats
Gargoyles
Herculoids
Birdman
Centurions
Spider-Man
Garfield
Godzilla
Darkwing Duck
Duck Tales
Scooby Doo
Johnny Quest (the old one and the revamped new one)
The Smurfs
Wacky Races
G-Force: Guardians of Space
Dragon Ball Z
Chip N' Dale Rescue Rangers
Muppet Babies
Probably a ton more I'm forgetting or just can't remember the names of.

I used to love Batman, Spiderman and X-Men the animated series...those are the 3 shows that really stick out the most. I remember watching a whole bunch of other shows but they kind of blended into the mush that is my childhood memories.
Does anyone remember the Back to the Future cartoon?
