Unreal Tournament at school...

So im taking computer programming this semester, and my teacher in there, Mr. Smith, a really cool guy, is the school's network/server system administrator. He can access the server from anywhere, anytime I believe. So we convinced him to load unreal tournament up onto the server so we could play it on the last day before Thanksgiving. What was going to just be a simple tournament between about 15 or so guys in the one class for one hour, ended up being a schoolwide affair by day's end. Word spread incredibly quickly about it being on the server, that you could now play from any computer in the school without installing at all. After the tournament 2nd hour, I played again in a different class, and there were allready in excess of 15 people playing from around the school...

Its a shame, because Mr. Smith is going to take it off the network, but I guess its for the better in the long run, because the game would totally consume us all. But man, was it fun while it lasted...

Pretty damn good actually...during capture the flag I ended up in second, and I had to be the MVP because I captured the flag twice. But then again I do own the 2004 version.

So UT was once again unlocked on the school server today for all to enjoy. Much fun was had whilest playing during 2nd hour. It will still be unlocked for tomorrow, the last day before Christmas break. I'll get to play it in 2nd hour computer programming, like normal, then again in 6th hour math 4. My teacher for Math 4 and Computer programming are one and the same. Hes taking all of his classes down to the lab tomorrow to play it. Seirously, such a cool teacher...

I mean think back to high school. Did you ever have a teacher that cool? That would, on the last day before Xmas, take every one of his classes down to the computer lab and set up an Unreal Tournament Fragfest for you? God, the more I think about it the cooler it is. I should dominate my Math 4 class...should be a good time.

Good luck with tomorrow's tournament, Jason. But I must ask, what do the girls do? Do they watch in admiration as hunks like you dominate or do they talk amongst themselves in boredom.

Good question. One I wont be able to answer until tomorrow though. Because so far ive only played it during my Programming class, which is all guys. We will see what will happen tomorrow in my math 4 class, which has plenty of girls. I suspect some will surf the web, while others will happily play. We will see though.
