Default XBox 360 Scratches a Disc

Crazy.

(BTW - It warns you not to switch from vertical to horizontal in the manual)

I refuse to purchase defective hardware. Microsoft just lost an important customer.

Scratch'd!

This isnt a problem on the part of Microsoft.

Its caused by the cockbite that didnt read the manual.

Can I blame Sony if my PS3 doesnt handle being submerged in water while its on?

So don't juggle your 360 while playing. Problem solved.

Yeah, but how many people read the manual?

I refer you to my "submerged under water" statement.

Some things are just common knowledge.

You know not to stick your hand on an element when its on, but there arent warning labels on it to tell you not to.

I still don't understand why this happens. Couldn't they have prevented it? I mean, the guys flip it around pretty carefully, and you can flip most CD players around and not get the scratch.

There's a difference between putting a piece of electronic equipment under water and carefully moving it.

I've never read a hardware manual for a console, nor do I ever plan on it. I just assume that I will have high-quality hardware that can stand a few bump and bruises along the way.
