What is your favorite mortal kombat? My favorite is probably 3. I like all the different moves in it like animality,fatality, and the classic babeality.

Gotta go with 2 because of damn Kintaro. I could almost never beat him with anyone besides Jax. His huge, animalish arms always fugged up any other players I tried throwing at him. But good ol' Jax and his uppercut did the job

3 was the greatest, introduced combos and the brutality... MK2 was fun, but after playing 3 is was shallow as hell

Well, I don't know I think Deadly Alliance is a whole different ballpark, I mean it is a much deeper fighting game than any of the previous entires, but I don't prefer it over the less realistic ones.
I do believe that the lack of many fatalies (one for each character) and no stage fatalities knocked Deadly Alliance down.
So in conclusion, I will say Trilogy.

Hmmmm probably MK2... I played it quite a bit back when I had an SNES... But MK: DA is a close second... I rented it and it was quite a jolly fun fighting game... Although I agree with Breakabone that the lack of fatalities stunked...

Mileena was the best in Mk2. I still remember my fave combo.
Jump LK (while holding HP) let go of HP, Back back down HK, jump LK on the bounce, then fwd fwd B and you can teleport and hit em from other side
