The depths of Davoi are HELL. Me and Rndm had the same experiences. But anyway, enjoy Paladin, I'm lvl 23 almost lvl 24 and I love it so far, but it will be way better at higher levels.

You may find leveling in the Dunes and Qufim pretty annoying as PLD, because a lot of the newbie WARs don't understand a PLD's job and will often try to take the hate from you with Provoke. The person who started a pt I was in, he said, and I quote:
"All we need is a tank." And I said, "I'm the tank", and he's like "No we need Samurai or Dark Knight for that", and I'm like "uhm..no", and we went on until the rank 5 WHM told him to shut up. The guy almost got us killed because he started fighting right in the middle of Qufim just as Wights are about to come out, he was an idiot.

LMAO we need a DRK to tank HAHAHAHAHA you should have reached though the screen and beat him with a stick. I have heard alot of stories about wars being stupid and not knowing there roles.
