Still in Iraq
Well I got an Email from the wife the other day, and she told me that I had some friends asking about me at GameTavern. Yeah... right, Friends.
So here I am, still in Iraq and it seems that I will be staying here for just a little bit longer, and that means for another 3 months. I found out about this a little over two weeks ago, so I'm still kinda in shock.
Now the question is, how am I doing over here? Well, that is kind of hard to explain. Believe it or not, I'm doing fine. But that is just as fine as I can be, being in Iraq. I try not to be to upset about it, because I still have a very long time over here. Figured that if I have a bad attitude while I'm over here, it's just going to make things that much longer. And believe me, I don't want that.
I tried to give you guys a little update yesterday, but my time was up before I got finished writing a post. Thats the biggest problem over here, I never have time to write long emails, we only get a half an hour to do what we need to do on the computer. Then we are kicked off. So try to imagine if you could only get on a computer 30 mins every couple of days. But I'm happy about it, because at least I get to talk with friends and family once in a while.
I have also been reading the post on "WMD" and want to respond to that, but never get enough time to do it. Believe me, after being out here, I have my own opinion on that subject... well, look at that, they are calling my Station.
Well guys, I hope you are all doing well. And I hope that the ones with family over here are safe. Later people.

Re: Still in Iraq
wow, camfubot... you've got amazing timing.
to the real Camfu, i'm sorry to hear that you have to be over there for another 3 months. but you'll make it, and when you get back you've all the computer time you need...
my dad is over there, until september i think...he hasn't been writing e-mails lately because he is in transition so i don't really know what is going on. but he normally sends out a mass e-mail to the entire family when he gets on the computer. if you guys only get a half hour i guess he types it on his pda before hand.

Re: Still in Iraq
I agree. Good timing there CamFuBot.
But good luck and try to be patient for the big check CamFu. It'll be worth the extra 3 months

Try to determine if this is a person or a computer responding.

What's going on bald-ass? The one-and-only gekko aka "Super Grunt" is on his way over
Good to hear from you. Be nice to my Marines over there, I wouldn't want to see you get your ass kicked.
Tell us more when you get a chance. If not, I would wait for you to come back, but I'm leaving in August to demolish Fallujah.

Well, at least you're doing okay. Hope you come back in 3 months, without any other delays.
You too Gekko. Both of you take care over there. And come back safe and sound.

Re: Still in Iraq
Haha. Awesome. Yeah, I imagine you won't even see this post for another few days, if at all, but whatever. I was just wondering what was up. I'd heard a whisper here and a murmer there but never any substantial info on what you were up to. Good to hear you're still breathing. Come back safe.
