More incompetance from the Bush Admin
We now know they knew about it, knew they were there, and for all the work they have been doing, did nothing to guard it at all...

Re: More incompetance from the Bush Admin
Not the first time explosives have been stolen in Iraq, won't be the last. Definetly not our responsibility to gaurd every bunker containing explosives Only difference is this one can be blamed on Bush is spun correctly.
The real criminal here people, is not the people who stole the explosives and will use it to kill people, but rather Bush, because he single-handedly should be standing gaurd on that facility 24/7 so stuff like this doesn't happen. Now it's Bush's fault when they die, not the terrorists.

When we've proudly singlehandedly taken it into our hands to Police the entire world, had previous knowledge of this and did nothing, I concour with you gekko.

Re: More incompetance from the Bush Admin
It's called not having a plan to win the peace, gekko. Being as President Bush is the Commander in Chief, I would say that yes, it is his responsibility to make sure things like this don't happen. Note that this thread title doesn't call Bush a criminal. Merely incompetent. I think you're doing a little spinning of your own.
Now call me crazy, but I like my presidents to have control of things. Considering that many military advisors told the Bush adminstration and Secretary Rumsfeld that more troops would be needed to invade and hold Iraq and that they were ignored, my confidence in Bush is not at an all time high.

Re: More incompetance from the Bush Admin
I read about the missing explosives and it's concerning because if looters sell these explosives to insurgents, its gonna be one helluva day if/when they are used.
Hopefully the US can find them because if not and they are used and demolish buildings in Baghdad, there is no way in hell the Government will live it down nor will the American people. Many questions will be asked that day but the gov't won't know what to say. They will probably just give the excuse of "Well, we tried but its not our fault they got stolen and used". Wait..it looks like Iran used it, lets go to war with them now. That sounds good. Let's divert our attention away from Iraq now.
