I think I'm going to buy a diskman. I'm making a bunch of CDs. Keep recommending songs!

Why not just buy the CD's? I hate people that burn CD's, it pisses me off. Why not just buy the bands you want to hear songs from? Thats wht i do, and it works good for me.
And dont throw the "rich" thing at me, because ive been buying CD's since beofre i was, so blah.
Its only $14 for a CD, and CD's dont have viruses that can infect your computer.

Re: Need songs for playlist
I'm not really sure about their real names, so I couldn't tell you. I just know about them from my dad, and he has one of their records. Anyway..I figured out all the bands I want some music for.
Yardbirds, Byrds, The Hollies, Jimi Hendrix, Kinks, Romantics, and ELP.
I would download music, but I deleted those programs because of spyware problems. If anyone has any good mp3s by these bands, I would really appreciate if you could send them. My email address is MrStu29@hotmail.com and my aim is SilentHawk72.

Re: Need songs for playlist
Yo Dylflon, you should check out the band Stabbing Westward if you haven't. They are a Kind Of Hard Rock/Techno/Emo/Industrial hyprid. Some good songs of theirs are:
Save Yourself
Shame
Perfect
Im Guilty
Hopeless
Haunting Me

Good for you. But for every $15 you drop on a CD the band makes $1 and the rest goes to the recording industry. It's BS. Unless you're buying music by somebody who has a crapload of effects and editing done to their music and the "artist" pretty much does nothing (i.e. Britney Spears), it's really not a fair workout.
I'd rather send $10 to the band or go to one of their concerts than pay for CD that they won't benefit from. That isn't saying that I don't buy CD's. If I really like a group, I frequently do.
But bands benefit much more from concert goers than CD buyers.
By the way, if you're sending files to each other, www.dropload.com is the best way to go.

Re: Need songs for playlist
Hey, would you guys call ELO as being Progressive Rock? I don't know what to classify them as, but that sounds right.
