Doctor Who
Anybody watch? Great jumping on point. Everything is oh so shiny and new. New head writer, new Doctor, new TARDIS, new sonic screwdriver, new logo, new theme song, new everything.
Quite enjoyed Matt Smith as the Doctor. Very likable fellow. Nice way of connecting the companion to him. Horrible cgi in the first ep but that's never the draw.

Re: Doctor Who
So far I'm still unimpressed. To me, the acting has been very strong, but the writing is has been mediocre at best.

Re: Doctor Who
The show looked interesting to me when I saw a commercial for it, but I have no idea what time it's on or what channel, so I've never actually seen it.

Vincent and The Doctor
I think that might have been my favorite episode so far this season. Then again I have a soft spot for Van Gogh. Got a little teary eyed at the end.

Re: Doctor Who
Just saw Hungry Earth
I was enjoying it right up until I realized it was suppose to be a Israel/Palestine metaphor, and then I enjoyed it less.
Also, having the future copies show up kinda ruins a bit of tension
But all in all, nice ep

Re: Doctor Who
I watched my first Doctor Who series, and I enjoyed it, but not sure if want to go on since not sure how feel about the new Doctor based on his minor appearance at the end of the ep

Damn that was a good finale. Finally one where the manipulation of time was at the forefront.
And fezzes are cool.

I'd totally buy that if it was a lightsaber.

Anyone catch the Christmas Special?
Was a fantastic piece of television.
And a sneak peak at series 6

Re: Doctor Who
A very nice take on A Christmas Carol. Smith shines when he's paired with a kid. And it had Dumbledore.
