I drink Smirnoff Ice at the beginning of the night as a pre-drink. I go through a 4 pack or 6 pack of smirnoff ice before I go out to a party or to a get together.. then I finish myself off with beer.
Remeber:
Beer before liquer, you've never been sicker. Liquer before beer, you're in the clear.
Those are the words to live by. lol

I used to split a bottle of Jaeger with my roomate before heading out to parties.
And Stu, I'm sorry about your experience with your friend who smoked, but I pretty much guarantee you that that was a freak occurance. Smoking weed hasa been known to inspire many things, including carpentry, but rarely violence. Alcohol on the other hand... ever been to an Eagles game?

I tried to make a bong out of water cooler bottle once. I thought it would be the mother of all bongs. It didn't work, of course, but it did pass the time. Oh well.
