The letters that I read in today's magazine disgust

I want to be portrayed intelligently
[you might want to rephrase that, it took some time before I understood]
and totally discredit anything that the writ
[NO 't']er has written.
[writer and written in 1 sentence isn't pretty... perhaps 'writer has composed'?]
and writes to Nintendo Power:
[no capital 'T'?]ake time when you write your letters.
you have managed to lose so easily.
['so easily' after 'to lose'?]
About you opinion:
but letting somebody else proofread it for you might be a bit to much... you could say 'and
perhaps have someone else read it before you submit it.'
