its UNofficial. meaning sony didnt make it. anytime you install something that the company didnt make themselves its YOUR fault. you should always know the risks before doing it.

you install Omega drivers on your ATI GFX card and it ruins it. ATI doesnt have to do anything. they never told you to install any drivers but thier own.

Yeah right Null. If Sony didn't make update then who did? It was posted on Sony's site. Did some joe shmoe make it and somehow Sony went "OMG, Its awesome".
If the risk was so low then why has there been reports of some people's PSPs failing to boot and Sony telling everyone they have to foot the bill to get it repaired (shipping cost).
I understand your trying to get in my skin and you knwo what, its working. Hope your happy defending something Sony blatanly made themselves. If you could explain who actually made the software update that wasnt Sony, I'd like to know, thanks
Also, this update was just beta'ish software that wasn't supposed to be released to the public because of problems like this according to Sony.
