iTunes loads on start-up here.

bad idea to make anything load on startup unless its needed. but to each thier own


and as for seaching thro songs. its pretty much the same on both. you just have to press the 'media library' button on winamp and its setup to list all songs, and has a seperate window where you can click on just an artist and filter out his only. or album and such. so for that they're almost identical.
