I was thinking about the number of people here a few days ago and I think this "pub" thing is kind of nice.

But I also think that people leave because we really don't welcome them. The core members always talk to their older friends, the new members' posts seem to get ignored, and the new members feel left out.

I sometimes feel the same way, but I really don't care
