Verizon puts a proprietary user interface on all their phones. It works better with some than others (yours seemed alright), but when I had a RAZR, and compared it to someone else's who had Verizon, the difference was noticeable. Their menus loaded really slow, and the middle navigation button was completely absent, making moving through shit a chore

this is balanced out by great network service in this area, but really, the price difference is key. in a world where price was not an issue, I would go with AT&T for having good service and still not fucking with the native UIs on the phones they sell
