I'd call it torture, since from my general knowledge I think psychological torture is just as harmful if not more harmful than the standard run-of-the-mill physical torture. I mention SERE because that is what is most often referenced when discussing enhnced interrogation techniques.

My question remains: How do you get the information legally?
