The eye strain thing really worries me. We have no idea what the long term affects of using something like this for hours a day will do to our eyes, especially if it puts noticeable stress on them.

When the next version of the 3DS comes out and I get one I'm just going to turn on the 3D for each new game I get to look at it then turn it off. I'm glad they gave the option to disable it.

Sort of like how they should always give the option to not use motion controls. Zing!

"But Zach, that's the entire point of the system, they can't give you the option to not use it!!11!!"

Well, they just gave us the option to turn the 3D off of a system called the 3DS.
