Yeah, and weird how the Oceanic Flight 815 plane was found in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Bali near Indonesia. When supposedly the crash took place some 200 miles off the South Pacific.
Its like the Island (note how I refer to it as a character), displaces things in order to keep its location a secret from the world. Like it displaced the plane, and maybe it displaced that polar bear.
It must be doing a good job because flash-forward Jack is unable to find the island again when he wants to go back.
The plane was put there by Dharma or something. And that freaky guy Abaddon kept saying that there were no survivors when he was talking to Naomi, so I'm guessing he has something to do with Dharma - I think they're trying to stop people looking for the wreckage, thus keeping the island hidden, and they're also after Ben because of what he did years ago (killing off all the Dharma people).
And also, if you're as into this as I am, then you've probably heard of the alternative-reality game "Find 815", where some guy calls some other guy, telling him the coordinates for the wreckage of the plane - which leads the other guy to the Sunda Trench, where the wreckage is found. Someone wanted the wreckage to be found, and knew where it was.
In the 4th season of LOST, another part of the Dharma Initiative will be revealed.
How the time travel accident gone awry in this video will tie in with the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815 has yet to be explained. But for your own security, I will not say anymore at this sensitive time.

Re: LOST : season 4
Last night's episode was amazing and Sayid is a stone cold badass.
Because he got off the island and feels bad for leaving his other friends behind.

Bolded for truth.
I like that even though Locke is all off the rocker, he still responds to diplomacy.
During the wait between seasons 3 and 4, I also found out that I don't like Kate. I absolutely adore Claire And seeing that Kate somehow took her baby from her makes me hate Kate
Although it could be something else. Maybe Claire dies, and Kate wants to adopt Aaron (when I think about this option, I certainly wish that the answer is that Kate stole Aaron).
Or maybe Aaron's father was actually Kate, who had a sex-change operation after breaking up with Claire.

Wait, no! Don't read any of this! You're not even on Season 3 yet!
You're sabotaging yourself!

I was thinking more along the lines that Claire is injured seriously (either by accident or by someone like Locke). And so Claire is there, breathing heavily, not too far from death, and she asks Kate to take care of Aaron, knowing that she's going to die.
In the court scene with Jack, its stated that only (small number) of people survived the plane crash (which is a lie by the way). Which could mean that Claire is either still on the island, dead, or back in the 'real world' with Kate, Jack, Hurley, etc.
They've set it up to make it seem like Kate has stolen baby Aaron but I think as the story matures, we'll actually see that this is not a kidnapping.
The only nagging detail that conflicts with this theory is the way Jack declines Kate's offer to go over to her house when they're talking outside the court after the trial. He'd rather go out for coffee and not see or acknowledge Aaron.
Which could mean he doesn't approve of Kate having the baby for whatever reason.
Or, another possibility the story sets up is that the baby is in fact, Kate's, and Sawyer is the father. As in the episode, we learn that Kate and Sawyer had been questioning whether Kate was pregnant but then she insists in this episode that she's not. Which could be true or a lie.
If the baby were Sawyer's, it could offer an explanation as to why Jack doesn't want to go to Kate's home to see him.
Although this begs the question: why would Kate name her baby Aaron as well?
My theory: now that Kate and Claire are living together in one of Ben's little homes, I think that the time between then and when Kate leaves the island, she probably grew close to Claire and Aaron. And if Claire and Aaron either die, stay on the island, or just go back to Australia; perhaps Kate names her own child Aaron in honor the one on the island she became so attached to?
Whew! I just looked at my speculation meter and I'm almost on empty. I better go to the station and fill up...

We do know that there's such a thing as the Oceanic 6, and it looks like those are the people "rescued" from the island, so we could assume these are the only "survivors" the world knows of. Claire may not be one of the 6, and might have asked Kate to look after him.
But the Kate-Sawyer thing is also pretty good, and before I heard the baby's name, I was thinking along the same lines. And Kate sure could have named her child Aaron as well, why not?

The only thing I don't like is the fact that the island has become a war zone. Initially all we had were plane crash survivors and a mysterious island. Now everyone has guns and people are being killed left and right. Death no longer seems to matter that much.
