Re: Favorite Action Movie
Die Hard has a nice balance of action and acting, and it's not overly campy or cheesy. I thought about this a little, and while I still think my first choice is "Die Hard," I'd say T1/T2 would be close behind. The Terminator movies rock.
And nice to see Robocop nominated. That movie is really dark and sardonic.

Yeah, I think that's where the next 2 go wrong.
They tone it down big time.
I also can see Terminator 1 and 2 being up there.
I guess the 80s was really an action era.

Re: Favorite Action Movie
I don't really know if it could be counted as action, but I say Blade Runner. I can't really think of any pure-action movie I liked.

Re: Favorite Action Movie
Hmm, that's a tough question. My laundry list consists of:
Terminator 2
Rambo
Predator
Kill Bill volume 1
Shoot Em Up
I'd probably go with Terminator 2.

It's for the best.
The volleyball scene still makes no sense to me.
I mean did they just need an excuse to show off their bods?

Tony Scott actually admitted the scene was put in strictly for the ladies, or dudes, depending on your preferences.
