On a comic I was working on the writer wanted the main character to resemble Jon Hamm...so I checked the show out on his recommendation. Not a stitch of work got done until I finished both seasons. Quite good.

Nope, it's on my favorite TV shows list. I watched both seasons during their broadcast. What sucks is having to wait for season three now. :-( Really good show that captures the late 50's early 60's perfectly.
It's a little-known gem because it's on AMC, and not one of the big networks.
Another good one to check out from AMC is Breaking Bad. The star is the father from Malcolm in the Middle for anyone that followed that show (I didn't).
Both recommended.
And the intro is one of the most original out there. Good theme song too.
And yes, Christina Hendricks (the hot secretary), is very hot.

I'm 10 episodes into season 1. I think it's a pretty darn good show. Lots of smoking, drinking (sometimes while pregnant and at work) sexism, etc. It was a crazy world back then.
