Oooh Xantar is catty.
I do think that maybe the mafia had it particularly hard this game, but then again the enchanter role should have evened it out a bit, since it would have bought the mafia at least one extra round if TML's power got to be used. It just turns out it didn't end up helping.

So did everyone have fun?
I'd be down to run a conversion game some time in the future since the Thing Mafia has still proven to be the most intense one to date.
