Misfits is a BAFTA Award-winning British live-action superhero comedy-drama about a group of young offenders forced to work in a community service programme, where they become imbued with supernatural powers after a strange electrical storm.
Had a trailer, a quote, said it was good, how long it is, and told them to watch. I should receive a goddamn advertising award for that sort of effort.
I saw the first episode on TV a few weeks ago, and I liked it.
I initially started watching it because somehow I thought it would be about the band The Misfits.
It was pretty neat, concept-wise, and had some pretty timely dry-humour moments.
I haven't seen anything passed the first episode of the first season, but I read the synopsis for the entire season because I wanted to figure out what the hell the show even was.
I keep meaning to watch it, but I always forget when it's on.

Yeah that last ep was-- well, could have tied in better with what came before it. But if liked the rest it's coming back in November for a second series.
Btw did you understand the slang-talking girl in the first episodes? It took me a while (had to use subs), with English not being my native language. But by the 5th and 6th episodes I didn't need the subs anymore.

Series 3 just started. They all have new powers and somehow they're even worse than before. The girl who can be hard to understand is now a rocket scientist. Literally. She can design rockets but that's about it. The new guy (Nathan is gone) is surprising not bad.
And apparently they're doing an American remake. Sighs.
