Nintendo's next console
I was thinking yesterday, as I sometimes do, and was wondering what the Big N's next console will be like?
Will they continue to utilize a Wii-mote-like design? Or will they choose to go to a more traditional design?
And, if they do go back to a more traditional controller, will they get flak from the press and/or gaming community?

Re: Nintendo's next console
I heard that this will be their last.
Don't know how credible the source was though.

Re: Nintendo's next console
Their last console? I find that hard to believe. I don't think Nintendo is losing any money being in the console industry. Of course, I haven't really checked the latest numbers.

Re: Nintendo's next console
No! We can't discuss next-generation yet! Its WAY too early!
If I even hear someone utter a codename for a next-generation console, I'll go bananas!
But since you asked...
I believe Nintendo's next console will feature an evolved form of the current Wii-troller.
Think of the Wii-troller as a Charmander. Next generation it will become a Charmeleon!

Re: Nintendo's next console
I've been wondering this myself. And no I doubt the source was credible. There's no way Nintendo would even know what their plans are yet. Everytime Nintendo releases a console people say the exact same thing about how it will be their last.
I agree it will probably be an evolution of the Wii design. I can't see them returning to a traditional console format. That would be akin to admitting the Wii was a failure.

Re: Nintendo's next console
Same thing, better graphics. Controller will have better rumble and possibly have a rotating part, or folding part?
Will this be a short generation for nintendo, like the last one was for microsoft? I'm betting so.

Re: Nintendo's next console
I don't mean to sound like a jerk, but this is what peeves me about GT.
There's so much Nintendo fanboyism that when a new Nintendo console comes out, a thread is made to talk about what the NEXT one might be like.
