Guess why I haven't been posting too much lately?
Suikoden III is awesome...
Just one problem... I wish there was only one MAIN character. I wish it was Hugo....
I hate playing Chris' chapters.
Also, please don't spoil anything for me...I am loving the story.

I actually find it better to have 3 different POVs..
Oh, and I EXTREMELY suggest you get all 108 stars. Check gamefaqs or IM me on AIM and I'll send you a list. You get an EXTREMELY nice reward after beating the game while having all 108 stars.
Oh and if you haven't palyed Geddoe's chapter 1 yet...pay attention to what Jacques says at Great Hollow.

I already beat Geddoe's chapter 1... Damn, I forgot what he says. Jacques is a cool character. He is more of a serious character like Geddoe. Anyways, what did he say in the Great Hollow?

He said:
"...footsteps."
somewhat of a spoiler for people who haven't played the game yet:
--------
When the knights attacked Great Hollow, Jacques commented on their footsteps.

Uhh... So basically, it's a hint for something that will occur later in the game's story...ok...
Man, I am loving this game. This game is awesome. I am happy I picked this game.
There are only 2 downsides in my opinion....
1. Magic: The chanting takes forever and when you get hit, you stop chanting. Also, most of the magic attacks suck.
2. Battling Music Like it or not, every RPG gamer loves a good solid battle theme. Take the Grandia and Final Fantasy series. The music makes you more into the game and its battles. Suikoden III has different battle themes and most of them are rather dull. But there is probably one good battle song...

1. That's what the "skills" option is for. By visiting magic tutors, you can raise magic rankings. Like say Geddoe's lightning magic is ranked at D, it will take slower for him to chant a lightning spell than if the rank was at B. There are 2 types fo tutors: magic and physical. You should always stop by them regularly to raise skills.
2. There is one boss theme that I really like, and the other one isn't so bad. But what I really like is the Alma Kinan theme.

I finished Hugo's chapter 3, Chris' chapter 3, Thomas' chapter 2, and I am currently on Geddoe's chapter 3.
The only one I have left is Geddoe's chapter and I finaly get to see the Flame Champion... (Please don't spoil anything for me because this is a very important part in the game.)
I have been playing for 40 hours...
Please tell me I still have a while to beat the game... I played all day this week. This is one of my most loved games now. So this is another YES or NO question...
Am I very close to beating the game or do I still have some more things before I beat the game... I am not talking about secret unlockables...I am talking about beating the main game. I really, really hope the game is longer than 40 hours. Is it..?

to do everything the game has to offer it'll take at least 120 hours. to beat the game normally without getting really any secrets, it'll at least take a good 50-60 hours. i can tell you how many chapters you have left if you want. but dont worry, you wont beat it anytime soon.
it gets harder and the story gets better and better, i played it til 1:30 am last night just to see wut happens next. you'll deffinitely want to get all the stars, and thats a nice amount of fun time right there. theres plenty to do, trust me.
also, i recommend playing the S1 and S2 games after you've beaten S3. the stories are awesome. i also recommend suikosource.com for all the info you could possibly want.

Dude, I love you!
You're the greatest! As for the chapters, I'll find out myself.
