How are you doing this again? I know it's a pen and paper game, but do you roll dice or something and then make up how it happens?

Yes. it's fairly in depth though. It's like everyone is an NPC.

But I do have basic motives for the characters that drive them.

If that were a problem, I'd think of other options. But, then again you don't have telepathic powers... the ability to read mind and motive and see future results with precognitive insight. Therefor, I don't have to be upset when your characterization of the members of GT happens to be entirely erroneous.

And you know what else sucks Crono? You had a good weapon, so you probably could have still been alive.

Yea but that crazy fewel ominub rushed him. ominub was a killing machine where sadly on the other hand crono wasn't.
