its not about giving the teams back. they didnt leave to give them somewhere else. im sure the NHL would have prefered a team stayin winnipeg and other places. but when they cant afford to have the team any longer the options are limited.

Shortened season is a GREAT idea. its not about what the players wnat to play less or anything, its about the NHL doing well. and if you want to see the NHL get more popular, there are some things that have to change. the long ass season doesnt suit hockey well when most consider it pointless and say it gets boring.

i love as much hockey as i can get but IMO, i MUCH rather see playoff games come sooner. and with less games they'll get to the playoffs that much quicker.

The inter conference play i am still werry about. i think they need to move some teams around to get the deviding line more equal.

[EDIT] BTW, did anyone predict a sweep for the sharks? lol. Sharks arent handing colorado thier ass's, They're mailing em back to Denver for them.

not really a 'absolutly' must win game last night. Because if it was. what would you call game 4? As much as ppl try to think it or make themselves believe it. its never a must win game untill its a must win game. You cant fake a must win game, when its time its time.

They can still pull it off. Afterall, crazier things in hockey happen

I'd call game 4 a formality. Anytime you go down 3-0, these teams almost always go out in one of the next two games. And anytime you go down 3-0, you lose. Except for twice in the history of seven-game series in all major sports, has that happened. There has to be a reason why it is so.

of course its a mental thing, because winning 4 straight happens all the time. but the thought that you HAVE to win 4 straight messes with your mind..... and its the other team knows they only need 1 which makes it even harder.

And if i remember correctly. yes only 2 teams have ever come back from being down 3-0 in all of sports. Interesting enough (again this is if i remember correctly) BOTH thoes games were in the NHL. Therefor only NHL teams have been able to do it.

i never said they will win. i said its possible, and it always is. What i was saying however is the feeling of the game from a real 'must win' and one you want to believe is a must win are TOTALY differnt. you just cant get that desperate feeling of a must win unless your really in it.

honestly tho. some teams are on a roll and have everything including luck on thier side (not saying TB is luck. cuz they got skill) but to win in hockey playoffs you need luck on your side.

Monteal will be back tho. They're getting better every year.

OHHHHH MAN! i am SOOOO glad the wings won this because now it wont seem like im whinning cuz of a loss.

these past couple games in calgary have been some of the WORST ref'n.....strike that. the refs were actually good at what they were tryin to do. screw the wings. i can seriously not remember the last time i've seen it so biased. Calgary will interfere, hook, chop, trip, and the refs will look the other way. There was even some OBVIOUS icing calls that they just didnt call, the tv annoucers couldnt figure it out after watching replays.

Then we get to the end of the game. and omg Calgary is some ***** ass m'fers. Nummenim (sp? damned if i care how to spell the morons name) totally ramed the hell out of Cujo, THERE WAS NO ONE NEAR HIM!!! he just went in full speed with a elbow to cujos head and ramed him!! OMG, theres wings first power play, a 5min major on nummenim with like 10 sec left... WHHHOOOPY!

the NHL better SERIOUSLY be looking at a suspension for him on that. TOTALLY an intent to injure.
