I sort of agree with Justin, but I do not think that Nintendo fans dislike the sites/magazines that give Nintendo game low marks. I think that Nintendo fans just ignore them until they start giving a Nintendo game a good mark, then somebody will make a thread like this one saying how sweet the game is.
I don't know. I couldn't really care less if Nintendo games, or PS2 or XBox games for that matter, get bad or good marks. Like I said earlier, if 7 different sources give a game that you think is interesting a mark of 7/10 or higher, rent the game. If 7 different sources give a game that you think is interesting a mark of 3/10 or higher, still rent the game, because who cares what other people think, you still might enjoy the game.

You guys just happen to support any source that gives Nintendo games high scores... but you never listen when Nnitendo gets low scores...
it's no use argueing, anybody who replied to my IGN thread and said somthing that bashes IGN is 1) a hypocrit or 2) a fanboy whose opinion I'm never going to respect again....
I used to think this forum was intelegent... oh well, guess there is no such thing as that *shrugs*

Justin brings up a rather intelligent argument.
Let's see the opposing side's reply:

I must say, it's quite obvious who should have won this debate. But it also is quite obvious who did win.

I tend to agree with Justin on this matter
but I think he's taking it a little far
these guys aren't going nuts over Famitsu or against IGN...they're just happy that the Gamecube is finally getting a good game...
and in memory of bobcat,

I'm on a much higher level than Justin. He still refers to gaming magazines for ratings. While I, rent the games myself and give them my own personal rating. What other people say or believe does not bug me. Everyone here has the right to say what they want. Some games just aren't meant for everyone. Justin I hope in time, you will come to relying on yourself rather than other people's opinions for video games.

If you are on such a 'higher level' than Justin is, then why did you write this for an entire post: "Believe you want Justin " First of all it's pointless, second of all it doesn't even make sense.

Because Justin believes we all act that way when we don't. I meant, "Believe what you want Justin." I just made an error when typing.
BTW Bond, welcome back. We haven't seen you in a while

In my opinion, Justin heavily overgeneralizes, and in any case, I don't think Nintendo fans are much worse than fans of other systems.
But he has a valid point nonetheless, and nobody has given him a decent counter-argument. And here's a tip for you, GameMaster2002: if you declare that you are on a higher level than somebody else, you really aren't. People who are on a higher level don't feel the need to say it to the world. They just know it's true, and what's more, everybody else does, too.

But Justin doesn't know. He falls to the sweeping generalization as you said that everyone here is like that when in fact they're not. I want him to know they are many people here who aren't like that.

Does that put you on a higher level than him? No. At least Justin is aware of his limitations.

I think it does because I don't generalize everyone by one "fanboy" or whatever you guys prefer to call it.

I would have posted a thread for Resident Evil even if it got a crappy score. You want to know why? I am keeping track of this game because I liked this game when I played it (which is not too far back) and I want to know if it's worth buying right now. It got a good score, so I really want this game. Hell, I'm posting IGN's score when it comes (if it's not insider ).

Of course there are people here who aren't like that... but these same people aren't Nintendo fans are they?
Like ??? showed in the quote, I serperated the Fanboys from the Fans... Fans just judge off of what they play, and they don't have any bias when it comes to reviews, if a place is once trusted, it's always trusted. Fanboys will get mad if a game on thier system gets a bad review.
Like I said before, IGN used to be loved so much and used so much in arguements the first year I was at Nintendose/ND.net/Gametavern, that you'd think IGN was the only source on the net.... the wierd part is, Ps2 was getting bad scores, and N64/Dreamcast were geting good scores... Now that GCN gets lower scores than Xbox, these same people are acting like IGN is the worst source for reviews.
If Nintendo was still geting thier weenie sucks at IGN, you guys would still love and respect the site... and to me (One of the biggest debaters on the board), this is a good reason to be pissed off about it.
Is this arguement done, or are you going to make another dumb post so I can say the same arguement over?
