Re: Anime Thread for discussing/recommending anime and stuff
I've attached a list from another forum that has a bunch of recommended anime. I haven't seen a lot of these but the ones that I have seen are great. Just putting it up for all to see.

I finished Noein. Turned out to be better than I thought it would be. Originally started watching it purely for the action scenes but it turned out to be a rather engaging sci-fi epic exploring quantum physics with the Many-Worlds and Copenhagen Interpretation. Plenty of slice of life as well. Kind of reminded me of Evangelion in that respect having the two worlds juxtaposed.

Welp, I finished watching Cardcaptor Sakura finally.
I personally enjoyed a lot of it, but that doesn't mean that I don't feel like most of the show was very repetitive and unnecessary.
The first half was the whole deal with getting each of the Clow cards, and then the second half was repeating it pretty much with changing the Clow cards so Sakura could use them and all of the important things happened within the last I would say 10 episodes.
I also liked the first movie better than the second one, but I did like the way they ended it. I knew Shaoran and Sakura would end up together since I believe it's their son that is the main character of Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle.
Now to catch an OVA or two before my friend hooks me up with some of the stuff on my list so I don't have to rape my seeding ratio on this torrent tracker I have.

I'll make sure to add that to my own list then.
That's the problem with lists, it's all opinionated, but you would think that a forum with 20,000+ users would be able to get an amazing list together, but I think that list was made by only one guy.
For the most party a lot of people I've shown it to can generally agree it's pretty well rounded. I'm gonna start watching Sengoku Basara so I can give it a go and have something else to discuss in the podcast.
My co-worker is gonna bring me Baccano! and I downloaded Kimi Ga Nozuma Eien. Goooo me
Re: Anime Thread for discussing/recommending anime and stuff
Sengoku Basara is another one of the those ones that's just plain fun. If you do get around to watching it, you'll probably be able to guess my favorite character right away, lol.
Also, the list redeems itself for having one of Lucky Star's classifications as "timotei" which is a pretty cool easter egg for people who've seen it. I'm honestly contemplating watching that show again.
Am currently watching Omamori Himari. Any hope that this would be more than a generic harem series have officially been dashed. Not that it's a bad thing bad, since I enjoy comedic harem shows anyway.

I think out of everything on that list that I've seen and hasn't been on your lists, I'd recommend Mushishi the most. There's also a live action movie from the director of Akira which I want to check out.
