Re: WoW: Battle Reports
Hehe, good stuff. That's how it often goes.
My bro is now 33, while I'm at 22. But it doesn't matter much, because we can't play together anyway (same account).

Re: WoW: Battle Reports
Sounds like me and my friend... I got a mount at level 42 and he was like... 25-30ish...
And he started his character before mine

Is there any way to level quickly without doing quests?

With 250+ hours on one character, my level 44 hunter (alongside a level 20 warrior I had before and the level 20 warlock I play as now, probably bringing the total to 300+ hours), I'd have to agree with them...
The runner-up for me would be Half Life 2... It had an amazing wow factor while I was playing it, amazing single player experience, but once WoW came out it went on the shelf along with all my other games... Along with plans to buy Metal Gear Solid 3...
It won't, however, de-rail my plans to buy Resident Evil 4

Re: WoW: Battle Reports
If only Blizzard took a page from CoH and made some kind of a sidekicking feature, then level difference wouldn't be an issue
And gah, I want RE4 but don't have the money at the moment >_<

Re: WoW: Battle Reports
They've suspended the Closed EU Beta. Should be up in a few days, with new players. I wonder how long it will last until it goes retail here.
It's very weird if you think about it... You and me play exactly the same game, but you are paying $14 per month for it.
Of course you can keep your characters, we can't.

Re: WoW: Battle Reports
Yay I'm back online.
I just kicked a Tauren Druid's ass that was 3 levels higher than me (25 vs 28). Good stuff. Now I want to leave him alone, I hate body camping.
I'm loving it.
I wonder if 3 months will be enough to get to level 60 with 1 character....

Re: WoW: Battle Reports
Really? When did you do this? I will admit that I rarely ever look at the chat list when I'm busy hunting the wild bears and buzzards for fun and profit. Try sending me some mail sometime to remind me.
I'll look for you when I go online this afternoon

Re: WoW: Battle Reports
Question, is dueling other players still pointless?
in the beta testing, nothing was ever gained by winning a duel with another player, game just said so and so wins the duel. i think you should be able to take something of the losers, or have both players bet something before they fight. lol
so that still the same in the final game?

Yeah duels are still pointless... I dunno, they might change it eventually but they havn't said anything about doing so...
It's really more for practicing your PvP skills, I guess...

Re: WoW: Battle Reports
Darkmaster, I finally found you. You have a pretty sweet elfven hunter on your hands there. Thanks for the advice about heading to the Westfall. There's lots to do and I'm up to level 19 and well on my way to 20. Unfortunately I have to head to work, but I'm going to try and put in an hour or so late night tonight when I get back.
