Re: Fallout 3
I beat the game today.
60 hours and a bit. I did all side quests but 2 ( one of them being unavailable cause i killed the people who apply to it.) One of the best games ive played ever. A little disapointed by the ending, maybe just because i knew it was over.
Wont spoil anything but the last battle up to the climax is friggin aweosme. Theres one particular element envolved that kicked major amounts of ass, and make me laugh out loud.

Re: Fallout 3
I'm over 30 hours and still haven't done even half the quests.
It blows my mind how easy it is to spend most of your in-game time just exploring.

Re: Fallout 3
I explored so much, but didnt go to all the places i wanted to. I wanted to see the white house, and i never went into the capital building. I had the explorer perk too. The map is so busy with locations, especially the down town area

Re: Fallout 3
I just bought this game today.
I can easily see replayability in it. Easily.
The thing I like so far, is that the XP you earn is directly tied to what difficulty you play on.
That said, I find ammunition management child kickingly annoying.
I'm not that far in the game at all, I literally just started - but there is nowhere for me to get ammo, and I'm stuck beating things with a bat.

Re: Fallout 3
Ive got 66 hours and I think ive almost completed all the side quests, I just need to find 30 nuka-cola quantums. Not sure how far I am into the main quest but I think im coming up to the end soon. The capitol building is quite a battle to get into with Enclave soldiers, super mutants and talon mercs in and around the building and then theres a large surprise waiting inside for you as well.

Re: Fallout 3
Why do you need to collect that many nuka cola quantums? I've been using mine to make nuka-cola grenades. should i start saving them?

There is a side quest where some lady wants you to get her 30 of them. Shes offers you caps and the schematics to the quantum grenade, V2 if you already have 1. Alternatively, some guy who lives next to her offers you more money if you bring them to him so he can give them to her, cuz he likes her and wants to score.

Re: Fallout 3
How do you not see the similarities? Three Dog is maybe a few years older and possibly a bit dirtier but its pretty much the same.
If I had photoshop i would have put the faces side by side. Someone want to do that?
