The life and times of...
I thought this up during my boring day of work.
A thread to get to know your fellow boardmembers how you want to.
Not sarcastically, and not tongue-in-cheek-ily, but seriously.
If you have a serious question about the personality, personal life or the "why's" of another member, ask it here, and maybe we can all get to know one another a little bit better than we do?
Also, I would like to make note of the new avatar I thought up today. Purely no-doubt unoriginal.

Re: The life and times of...
I will start. I would like to know more about the ever elusive Gamemaster, or GM as we like to call him. He's very secrative, I want solid information, such as age, hometown, occupation, ect.

Re: The life and times of...
I believe he has said something about a movie theatre.
And aside from that I've gotten nothing. Me and Foxxy used to double team him on MSN and got nothing but riddles from him

Re: The life and times of...
I also meant to add some sort of a "Keep in mind who you're asking, and what you're asking of them" sort of thing.
I doubt he'll come clean.

Re: The life and times of...
I would like to ask a bit about Gekko's military experience and how he feels it has changed him as a person.
Also I don't think I really know anything about people like BreakABone and manasecret. So general info would do.

I've been here long enough for people to have gathered info on me, but I'll play since no one else is.
Real name Earl
Recently graduated from Alfred University with a BA in Psych.
I have a love of most things Batman and Mario if my icon didn't give it away.
Like movies for the most part, using the writer's strike period to catch up on new shows.
I once wrote a mario fanfic on these forums. I have however recently completed my first original work of fiction for National Writing Month. I wrote a 200 page novel in a month. Need to get back to editting it.
Currently gainfully unemployed and looking deseprately for work.
Anything else?

I've been curious about how you started your comic, who the characters represent, who writes and draws it with you, and which one of you gets the writing/drawing credits. (I think it's great.)
Like BaB I've been here and said a few things along the way to glean information on me. I have a history of posts that when I Google and bring old ones to my face, I realize how dumb they sound and (for a few) how drunk I must have been.
Real name David.
Graduated last May from Tulane University in New Orleans with a BSE in Electrical Engineering.
I was born and lived until I started university in Houston, TX.
After graduating, I moved back to my parents' home, where I currently live, while I pay off student debts.
I plan to move out in August with my girlfriend to wherever she goes to grad school, hopefully either Colorado or California.
It took a year or two for New Orleans to grow on me, but now I love it so much that I miss it every day. I visit my girlfriend there (also at Tulane until May this year) every couple weekends, which makes me very very happy.
The best thing I've ever done for myself in my life: starting September of 2004, I spent a year living abroad in Malta on a student exchange program. Every day I spend missing New Orleans I also spend dreaming about when I can go travel the world again.
Biggest bitch in my life: Katrina.

My girlfriend (Elaine) and myself met at Simon Fraser University in a poetry class and started dating about a month after we met. The university runs a student newspaper called the Peak and whenever we read their humour section we were disappointed by how crappy it was. We both agreed that we could make better comics than they could and so we started making our own comics. We ran them in the Peak for one semester but stopped when the humour editor changed. We hate the new humour editor so much that we don't submit our comics to the paper. I'm currently waiting for him to graduate so I can start running it there again.
The characters represent myself and Elaine. Of course they aren't really a lot like us (except in some of our comics inspired by actual conversations we've had) but they embody the sillier elements of our personality. The characters (us) are mainly there for identifiability but also sort of as a self-reflexive element to the comic since they aren't characters we made up. They're just vessels for the silly things we think up.
I write the comic and Elaine draws. We dabble in eachother's processes sometimes. Elaine has directly inspired a few of the comics as well as come up with the general ideas for a number of them. I sometimes draw small things within the comics that she is having trouble with including some objects but mostly expressions.
We've only ever had two guest writers. One of them being our very own Fox6 (Cam) who has entirely written a few comics and also wrote a few with me. And we have one comic that was written by Raphael Bob-Wakesburg of the Olde English sketch comedy troup.
And for BreakABone:
I'm 21 one in a month.
Been dating my girlfriend for 2 and 1/3 years.
In my third year of university studying film.
Currently in the editing process of a short film we shot last semester.
I work in a video store.
Uh...that's about everything that doesn't involve me delving deeper into my life. If anyone has specific questions, I can talk more later.

That's a difficult thing to describe... well, you probably wouldn't hear me talking about videogames very much. Really none of my friends play them, which is why I come here to talk about games.
I went to a private Catholic high school and currently go to the University of Wisconsin. I'm probably going to double major in business and something else and then go onto graduate school for a degree in Hospital Administration. I'd like to run a large hospital in a city when I get older.
I'm obviously a huge Packers and Brewers fan. I used to like the Yankees actually, but I adopted the Brewers since I moved here. I've lived in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and currently Wisconsin.

Because when I was in school I liked shop class. I like physically making things, and being able to say "hey, I made that" when you see something on a new building.

Re: The life and times of...
My life is pretty boring, otherwise I'd tell. One day I do plan on writing a book, it will be about my life but exaggerated greatly. My hobbies including long walks on the beach, classical music, and reading poetry.

Damn, totally missed your bio. You went to a Catholic high school? Do tell more, you're kinda quiet about your religious orientation.
Also, why'd you move so much?
