The Nerds are back, and they have a delicious episode on Tap for you. This week the Nerds look at the Summer movie line-up. With the armoured Avenger leading the charge, what stands out in this season? Bungie may be making headlines this week with the release of the Halo: Reach beta, but it was there deal with Activision that has the world talking, the Nerds tackle this merger and predict what will come out of the partnership. Finally in Cocktail Chatter, they look at the current day Watergate, what its like to be a Hero for a day and a tales of tits gone wrong. Seat back, pull up a chair and spend an hour with the Nerds

Listen and enjoy. The whole process went much better so you can enjoy a nicer longer recording that's easy on the ears.

Now that episode 2 is up for grabs, let's get cracking on what we should bring up for next week. I know we mentioned some stuff in episode 2, but if you would be so kind as to put that stuff in this thread along with any other suggestions.

Recording is set for 4-5 PM EST on Sunday May 9th. I know that's Mother's Day so if we can't get enough people to pitch in for that time, I'm more than willing to try for Monday night or Saturday night.

YES. YES. Good job guys. Awesome, it improved from the first podcast. It was easier to hear everyone, it flowed good....and hearing the legendary Xantar was quite interesting in a good way of course.

I'm looking forward to the future of these podcasts.

I think we need to definitely keep organized categories, and definitely need everyone to introduced themselves with their forum name.

Also....

Is there a way to get this podcast "out there." You know, like out on the rest of the Internet? A place that hosts podcasts. Ya know?

BTW:

Reason comic sequel is better than original....it's because you get over the origin story. Spidey 2 had already established things, X2 had established the characters and the villain (basically, Magneto's badassness), etc.

That's pretty much what I w as going to say.

Without the bloat of an origin story, they are usually able to spin a better tale. The problem than becomes the 3rd movie when directors want to take the heroes where they've never been before.

I mean Superman 3 (I believe its 3) was the one that featured the clone Superman getting drunk.

Spiderman 3 wanted to examine Spiderman's dark side.

X-Men 3 opened up Jean's dark psychic.

Batman 3 just changed tonal completely.
