Re: Meet Superman: The Man of Steel
He played a pretty major character in The Tudors.
I like him, I think he'll be good.

Re: Meet Superman: The Man of Steel
I don't think he looks like Superman. Needs to have a chin like granite. He may be good, who knows, but all I can comment on is what I've seen.
Also, are there no masculine American actors anymore? Besides Brad Pitt, I feel like every leading man in Hollywood is either British or Australian.

Well as long as Photoshop is part of the editing process, I'm down.

Are you saying that because he's not masculine, or because he's not American?
Anyways, I'm totally fine with this pick for Superman.
I got pretty used to seeing Tom Welling play Superman from Smallville and all, but meh.

Not American. It seems like almost all the most recent leading men/action stars in Hollywood movies are from Britain or Australia.

Economics. Brit and Aussie actors are cheaper than Americans.
Also, does Robert Downey Jr. count as a manly man?

True, but thaqt will likely change as they become draws, and the established American action stars are aging rapidly. Not that I really care, but when an old Jeff Bridges is one of the biggest American draws, you have an issue with the future of American acting (and I love Bridges, by the way).
I'm not sure Downey counts, but I like the idea... an American actor playing the quintessential British sleuth. COMEUPPANCE!
