That was the SpaceWorld demo, remember???
That's what C-E said, that it was based on that demo... perhaps just speculation though.

Well, Mario 128 was originally a demo for the Gamecube Hardware, and it featured 128 Marios going over a round board.... each doing a specific thing. It was interesting, and I wonder how they're turning that into a game...

They better not make some sort of stupid game like that. I want a real Mario game for once.

Yes, when Shiggy hinted that he wanted to do things he couldn't in Mario Sunshine... well.... it's a possibility.

The demo just showed the power of the console... Like how many moving things could be going at once, each made up with a bunch of polygons and whatnaught.... I wonder how they will make that into a game, though. Its probably going to be totally different.

I think Mario 128 will be online. It just seems like a game that could show what the 'Cube can handle and about Pikmin 2. Hopefully they will add more replayability. After I beat it the first time, I didn't ahve an urge to replay the game again.

Mario 128 online? I bunch of Marios running around the screen with an online mode doesn't make much sense...

Shigeru Miyamoto comments, "'Pikmin 2' and the 'Mario 128' game that was shown at the [GameCube] unveiling are both in development." Miyamoto elaborates a bit about the latter title, stating "I believe that with this game you'll be able to feel the "newness" that was missing from Mario Sunshine."
|
This "newness" factor is kind of exciting. Wonder what it could be?
However, right now I'm much more excited about Pikmin 2.
