Default How Tim Burton makes movies

In 3 minutes

Surprisingly accurate if you've seen a lot of his stuff. And this is sort of the reason why I'm not seeing Alice in Wonderland.

I love Tim Burton visually, but I haven't been able to sit through one of his movies since Big Fish (I think its his best work). I thought Sweeney Todd was intolerable and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was sacrilege.

I was so disgusted after seeing C&tCF in theatre...

Sweeney Todd was what it was, I waited to see it for free, without expectations. Still haven't bothered watching Big Fish.

Pee Wee's Big Adventure is a classic. Beetlejuice is good. The Michael Keaton Batmans are pretty good. And Edward Scissorhands and Mars Attacks are pretty awesome.

I can't say I'm a fan of much of his work past from Planet of the Apes on. The remake of Frankenweenie could be promising.

Alice in Wonderland was an abomination. I didn't even want to see it, bleh.

The man has some successes: Mars Attacks! and Ed Wood being my preferred choices....

I never understood what the excitement was about (although that's easy to say now). I liked Big Fish, I enjoyed some other movies.

The people I spoke with just went to see Alice in Wonderland because it had Depp in it. "Everything Johnny Depp touches turns to gold", yeah right...
