Soft serve ice cream isn't too bad for you...at least the main ingrediant is milk instead of fat.

Re: Day 9
I myself am fighting 2 addictions at the moment. In the last years, I tried to get rid of it in steps, but now I realise that doesn't work for me. I just have to stop at once. And so I did. I stopped 1 bad habit 4 months ago (and I don't miss it) and I just started to quit the other one 3 days ago. This time I can do it, I just feel it.
It feels so good to be free of everything. And I hope it pays off in other ways as well.
Good luck everybody, we can do it.

Re: Day 9
Well I had a setback last night. I was hanging out at the bar after work and I gave in to temptation, well at least 4 drags of temptation. I couldn't even finish half of it. Now I'm coughing like I've been mining coal for the past 30 years.
Well, back on the wagon today. I must persevere.

Tell us the addictions. Everyone wants details.

You won't get the details.

Like, if he didn't bring it up in his original post, why would you even want to pressure him into telling us? Give the guy some respect man.

Well.... Quitting smoking isn't going to make that any easier. I wouldn't worry about it for now, just focus on getting rid of the cigs, they're far, far worse for you than the spare tire.

Definately. Take baby steps. It's difficult enough to quit smoking. Trying to quit two bad habits at once just makes it all the more difficult.

I think he'd feel better if he revealed the addictions to us. Keeping secrets is bad. I just want him to feel great.
