I was listening to NPR earlier today and this song came on the radio...Broken Bells is made up of The Shins' lead singer James Mercer and DJ Danger Mouse.
Obtained the album earlier today and am giving it a listen to as I type this.

i had heard about the two coming together off of an indie/hip-hop blog. i found it to be quite the interesting match up. i haven't heard much of them except two songs that i happened to scrounge up, but what i had heard i thought was pretty good.
I hope they do this for a while, and it's not just a once-off sort of thing.
