I don't think anyone here closely follows Hollywood (correct me if I'm wrong) so I thought this would be a nice place to just dump random news that others may find interesting such as people being cast for movies, new movies being made and all that jazz.

This doesn't include stuff like trailers and reviews though, can make a separate thread for that.

Angela Basset joins the Green Lantern movie as Amanda Waller. For those who don't know who Ms. Waller is, she is the head of the Suicide Squad and currently Checkmate, I'm almost certain that does nothing to help most people.

Looks like Will Smith has signed on to do 2 ID sequels.

The Green Lantern suit is going to be entirely CGI. During filming Reynolds is wearing a grey suit with tracking led lights.
