When I look at GTA IV, I wonder what's new. Multiplayer, what else? (Edit: ok, a friend just told me about the amazing detail of this game. That's cool, but it's still an evolution of what they did in the previous GTA games, imo)
I see the graphics and think "decent, I'd give it an 8 or 9."
Thoughts?

Well, I hope this doesn't sound like I'm mad at ya or anything, of which I'm not. Just pointing out some stuff's or whatever.
10 doesn't mean a game is completely perfect. It means it's damn near perfect. All games have flaws. GTA IV is no exception. Biggest "complaints" I've seen is some pop-in in the 360 version (heard PS3 has some too but not so bad), controls a smidge wonky but nothing that seems to deter the score, and some missions extremely difficult.
10 means this is something you don't see very often. Yeah, we've all seen/played GTA before. But from reviews, it seems like it took all of what was good about the other GTA's and made it better. Better controls, obviously a crapload better graphics (not quite as good as games like Gears of War but they are still very good).
From sounds of it, the Multiplayer aspect is very fun also. Yeah, it may not have the depth of Multiplayer like say Call of Duty 4, but obviously GTA's multiplayer is worth the investment also.
So..yeah. Ten to me means this is a damn good game, and it should be tried out at some point. You may not like GTA which not all will. Everyone's tastes are different. Considering alot of reviews are averaging 10/100/A+, this will be one of the few games worth their full price.
