Default Why I Left WoW

The first reason was money and time, but another reason helped out as well.

Fun. At about level 30 the game stopped being fun for me.

I kept on stalling out at about level 30. I just couldn't activate my abilities quickly enough and I was getting eaten alive. Doing some research I found that a lot of members who were at high levels were using macros (little programs that link abilities together to make their use more efficient).

...

That was too much like work for a game. If the game had a interface for building macros, like in Sacred, then I would have been more obliged to cook up some tasty macros for full-flavored ass kickings. But they didn't and I honestly just didn't have the time or inclination to delve that far into the game. I just kept on making new characters when I hit thirty in hopes that my new Shaman would break the curse.

Also, the amount of travel time kept increasing and I never had more than a couple hours for instance dungeons... some of which take a LONG TIME. The game became a burden instead of the joy it once was. If I had the free time, I would probably have had continued playing and leveled more, but with work and school I just didn't have that option.

Anyone else experience the same thing?
