Wow thats quick kinda makes me wonder if it is becoming a trend. IF so there is really no point in going to the movies anymore when I can buy it and watch it at home two months later

$8.50 for a movie? Jesus. Our theaters over here charge $6.00-$7.00 for an adult ticket, and $4.00 for a matinee.
I wouldn't pay $8.50 to see the Matrix or TCM.

Re: Guess the date Revolutions is coming to DVD
A movie in cinema costs between €7 and €8 here, in the weekend. During the week it's about €6, or €5 with discount for students.
I liked Revolutions, but I didn't feel the need to see it again...

My friend once smuggled in a 12 pack of coke into the theaters. The next challenge is an entire pizza in it's box.

What about just buying a pizza at the theatre? Well, if the theatres in your crib have those pizza places inside them. Those are so cool.
Plus that way you don't end up accidentally spilling the pizza while sneaking it in underneath your shirt and getting sauce all over your pants or something. It's hard to pick up chicks when you have pizza sauce splattered all over your clothes. Well, not fat ones, but...

Re: Guess the date Revolutions is coming to DVD
It's just my opinion...but...
Matrix was awesome.. and the reason it did so well, was by word of mouth. Unfortunately... the sequels faltered. They relied WAAAAY too much on special effects. I hate that. Granted, the first one had special effects.. but they were completely revolutionary to the american audience, and they weren't the focus of the movie. The second sequel... eh.. the only thing I remotely liked was the highway chase scene. The scene with all the Agent Smiths attacking Neo.. SUCKED. The graphics weren't that great! The third one... eh... it just went downhill. To me, it seemed like the directors were trying to focus less on storyline, and more on making "revolutionary" special effects. I like special effects, but not when the movie has to completely rely on them, and if they are much more subtle. Also, the storyline went downhill. I know there are a lot of matrix fans out there, but I think LOTR was WAY better, as well as Finding Nemo. The only way I could be DRAGGED into seeing the last matrix, was if it was on a local IMAX screen...

Re: Guess the date Revolutions is coming to DVD
I remember smuggling 2 plastic bags full of popcorn into a theater. We did it just for the heck of it, but it worked! And I didn't want to buy from them.
And drinks. Don't forget drinks. Drinks are 5 times more expensive in the theatre than in the supermarket.
