I tired to read the lotr books i got past the first page thats only because i was bored after reading the first paragraph and flipped a few pages. But I thought the movies where still good any movies where they start with tens of thousands of troops and end up with a ghost army and 1000 troops and a whole lot of blood shed is a good movie in my eyes.

back on subject no movie has ever been equal too the book(or series in this case) but some have come close
