Do you absolutley HAVE to use a router when you play DD online? Because I dont have one, but thats really the only thing barring me from playing online.

They're testing beta's that use a HUB.

Once those are available, I can play online.

A future upgrade to the software is the ability to just straight hook it to your cable/dsl modem. I too need to get a router also since now there are 2 reasons to have one. (MK: DD and another computer besides mine in the house)

Warp Pipe has supported HUBS and 2 NIC cards for a while now. Ever since the first beta release.

Damn, I forgot it supported dual NIC's. The mobo i have came with 2 ethernet ports so all i need is a crossover cable <_<

Well, I got my first taste of Warp Pipe. And now I can't wait to play people around my area or so. First person was at Penn. State. Connection was pretty bad, but it was stable and playable. But it was the longest 2 minutes of my life.
