That's what happens when you join the Army.

Are you actually defending your own country's freedom? I don't imagine there'll be another attack on america like the 9/11 attack in a good long while.

And what makes me sad is that 8000 Iraqi civilians have been killed since America went into Iraq.

I'm sorry to hear you have to go.

Oh...and don't fire on civilians. Keep cool.

If they have a gun, they are getting one in the head and two in the chest.
*side note* (( I'm in a support platoon so I'm not worried about shooting anyone ))

Well I partially blame my dad. Because he did 20 years in the military and he talked me into it.

It would help if you quote the sentences that aren't yours, that was very unclear the first time I read through it.

Well that sounds like a self-fulfilling prophecy to me. If there isn't an attack because we are over there, it can never be proved thats the reason so then there is no reason to have troops there. Its cyclical logic. Also, we were convinced that there would ever be an attack on US soil before 9/11. See what assuming gets you?

Me? I feel safer taking the fight to them than just continuing to be a punching bg as the West has been for the past 30 years prior to 9/11.

And over 400,000 have been found in mass graves (estimated total of over 1 million), killed by their own leader who we removed from power. I think thats a pretty good trade off, don't you?

Ace, good luck and keep safe. Also know that you are doing good in this world while being over there, unlike what some would rather have you believe.

Remember what G.I. Jane said: SUCK MY D*CK!

Good movie, happened to see it yesterday. But it made me pity/dislike the army even more.

Uh, yeah there is. There was an article written not long ago in a reputable London paper (forget which one) that proved the link between the attack on 9/11 and Saddam Hussein. Turns out one of those who planned the attack was trained by Hussein's regime.

I forget which article that is, but I'll try and find it.

Surprised this news never made it big in the US media? I'm not.

But once again, this is about Ace, not Al Queida. Good luck my man.
