Stonecutter I would definatley be one of those people on movies because I'm sooo far behind the curve on everything because I really don't care if it was new 10 or 25 years ago if I like it I'm like wow that movie roxed ..

Yeah I agree with the movie theater one. But why the dog walking ? I take my rott running with me ? she never has to wear a leash but then again I bring her up to a track.

So it's disciplined enough to not attack anybody? I'm not one to really trust stray or free dogs. Sorry.
Okay, here are some more pet peeves that I remembered:
-people taking up two parking spaces in a parking lot. (It's not hard at all to park in just ONE space)
-people who try to look at both sides of a problem you're having but fail miserably by ending up making it look as though you're the bad guy in the situation, and then make the party who was actually in the wrong to be a possible victim
-people who act as though they're better than everyone else and don't have one single solitary flaw

Re: Pet Peeves
Oh, I just remembered another thing. I hate guys who play trumpet. High school guys. They have insanely overblown egos.
Scratch that. I hate anyone egotistical. I just really can't stand people like that.

Re: Pet Peeves
Whoa boy. I've got more.
-parents who subscribe to that "the teacher is always right" philosophy
-teachers who accuse you of having had done something wrong when you know damn well you didn't, and just don't listen when you try to explain to them
-angry people who try to make others subscribe to their angry views (i.e: those girls who try to convert straight girls into lesbians by telling them about the so-called evils of guys-I HATE THAT!)
-people who NEED sex and would ditch their significant other because they won't have sex with them
-girls who might swear that a guy has to be gay if he actually treats her right
-girls who say they like nice guys, but show their appreciation for what their nice boyfriend has done for them by pissing on him somehow, when she realizes he'd actually do nothing to intentionally hurt her in any way whatsoever
-the "out-of-control teenagers" themes on talk shows
I never knew I was this full of hate.

Re: Pet Peeves
This message is for storm eagle specifically.
I think you need to come down off your high horse. You're sitting there naming all of these things that you simply can't stand in this world, all the while seeming rather.....Stuffy in the shirt like you're that much better than everyone you're bitching about.
We all have faults, thats why we have the learning tool known as understanding. I'd suggest using that understanding a little better next time.
Thanks.

Re: Pet Peeves
Er...well...bitching about things we don't like is what thjis thread is all about. If things piss StormEagle off, he's entitled to talk about them here. Not only did he not say he's better than the things/people he hates but this is a place you're supposed to talk about the things/people you hate.
You don't need to start an argument.

I thought you listed hypocrites as a pet peeve? Yet, don't you realize you're a hypocrite for denouncing him for stating what he does not like? And what he does not like is Storm Eagle's attitude.
All's fair game in this thread of yours, and you just performed your pet peeve.

As Dylflon already mentioned, this thread was created for ranting, and I'm doing just that. I'm also doing it as politely as I possibly can. Besides, you could easily be accused of being on a high horse also, since the only thing you came to do in this thread is come after me for speaking my mind, and you didn't even share any rants yourself. Maybe other people can relate to the things I mentioned and maybe rest assured that they're not the only ones who feel the way they do about certain things. Lastly, as for that understanding thing, perhaps the people I mentioned should understand that the things they do will offend people. So if they care enough, they can just strive to be better.
