Suggestion
Since this is my forum and all, I would like to suggest that we get all the archives up above there put into one folder. If this keeps going much longer, it's just gonna get to the point where there is way too much scrolling necessary to get to the active topics.

Whenever I visit GT, I click the 'New Posts' link. It takes you only to the active topics, that way you don't have to shuffle through anything, only the topics that have been responded to since your last visit.

I've always used the New Posts button. I can't stand to go to each individual forum area.

I just used it once when I was away for about 2-3 months. It wasn't such a good idea. There were too many to check.
Its a good thing though.

i like the folder idea
whenever i click on new posts i ended up missing some things that i have checked because i might have left GT open without reading it
