I'll accept what you said if you are talking solely about games ported to the PC. Games that are designed for PC take advantage of eveything they can and they look 10x better than any console game. Of course, that's if you have a higher end system...which at the current moment, I do .

doesnt even need to be top of the line to look better then console games :P i have a 5 year old sys running a geforce 2 card that can still do better then console graphics.

i can only stand console graphics for the first couple years of the console. after that they usually start looking quite bad compared to pc
